It is Week 15, and for many in the NUHS Community it is another week of Final exams and just a few short days until the end of the trimester. For those of you who are completing your very first term, congratulations! It’s official: your journey is definitely underway!

For those who have completed several trimesters, remember, you’ve got this and you are closing the chapter on yet another term. I and several other Trimester 8 students are in the proverbial “home stretch” of the last courses we are required to take as part of the Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine program and there are several Tri 10 students whose journey as a Chiropractic Medicine student is coming to an end.

Whether you are a first Tri, in the mid-point of the curriculum, completed your first term of Clinic or have Graduation Day clearly and successfully in view, take a moment.

Take a moment to reflect on all that you have accomplished. Whether it is completing the AN5101 Spine & Extremities Anatomy Lecture and Lab Courses (which were “huge” mountains to climb for many of us) or you successfully executed the “Head-to-Toe” examine of EM6202 Physical Diagnosis, or whether you completed any of the Clinic Internships (IC7000, IC7100 or IC7200) – YOU DID IT! And that is worth taking a moment to reflect on and to celebrate.

For those of you who are still in the race, take a moment and congratulate yourself, as you continue to advance through the Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine program.

For those who have finished the race…Fall 2020, NUHS Graduates, CONGRATULATIONS! May you be well and have exceeding success in the next phases of your journeys!
